Unreal Integration on Kinect Adventures (Microsoft Game Studios)
Liquid Development
August 2009 – April 2010 (9 months)

I did a large variety of work on Kinect Adventures while working with Microsoft Game Studios. I primarily worked on the Reflex Ridge and River Rush activities. My work included, to name just a few, asset integration (props, foliage, terrain, pirate ships, a ski lodge, etc.), Unreal III material creation, fixing models/textures when needed, placing fx, fixing bugs, fixing level streaming issues, reducing draw calls and increasing fps. On two different occasions I was even fortunate enough to work with the MGS team directly at their studio. That work primarily consisted of the optimization, streaming, and bug work that I mentioned previously.
Kinect Adventures is the first Kinect-enabled video game created for the new webcam-style add-on peripheral for the Xbox 360. The game was primarily bundled with the Kinect and Xbox360 in different purchase options when the Kinect was first released.
