@ Portland State University.
October 2013 – June 2016 (3 years).
This portfolio page contains a few of my projects which I worked on at Portland State University over the last three years. During that time I continued working in game development while going to school half-time. My previous Bachelor’s in Game Art and Design allowed me to skip the usual general education courses and focus solely on the architecture classes taught by the school. I made a purposeful effort to avoid using computer software where possible as a means to rediscover my capacity to draw, round out my ability to use my hands and mixed media, and to test out a variety of organic design processes which break free of the rigidity and constraining characteristics a computer can impose. I very much enjoy generative design processes, in respect to architectural theory and Christopher Alexander’s definition.
